« I’ve been to hell and back. And let me tell you, it was wonderful. »
- Louise Bourgeois
Rising from the ashes.
Embracing our duality.
Our shadows.
Our contradictions.
Our wounds.
Embracing it all and coming back full of light.
Full of our light.
It can be difficult sometimes to know who we are.
What we « have » to do.
Why we came here.
For years I have been asking myself these questions.
And I am not gonna lie to you, I still do not know what are the answers, especially right now as I am in what people usually call « my 40’s crisis ».
But anyway
The truth is, we can be everything.
Everything we want.
We can because we are.
And it can be very exciting but also very destabilizing, especially if we hold this wound of self worth and self confidence within ourselves.
Especially if we haven’t been nourished and loved the way we need during our childhood.
For the kid we were.
For some, it can be more easy.
For others, it can be a real struggle.
And sometimes we have to look after ourselves for years.
Sometimes, we have to dig within ourselves to excavate and destroy all those beliefs that don’t belong to us.
To create our own « identity ».
Our own « self ».
Our own truth.
And let me tell you…
After all those years looking after myself, there is no one answer.
But infinite.
There is no one answer but only those which are hidden in these little secret dark places that we carry within ourselves.
Because the key is often found in our deepest wound.
The one we avoid to reopening.
Because we are scared to suffer again.
But…
« I’ve been to hell and back. And let me tell you, it was wonderful. »
And yes, I myself have been many times.
Until I realized that this « wound is the place where the light enters you ».
The kind of light that brings softness and kindness.
By embracing the wound.
By taking care of it.
With love.
So…
It may not speak to everyone here.
But if it resonates with you…
Take good care guys
And cherish your wound(s).
Consciously.
Because your wound is the light that will help you to find your way.
And help others to find their own.
Love 🤍
